Origin of the Moroccan

• The Moroccans only started cultivating the hemp plant in the 14th century. It is made in the Riff Mountains in northern Morocco. It is dry sieved and then heavily pressed, which gives it its light color and hard viscosity. Due to the conquest of Egypt by Napoleon in 1798, Moroccan hashish was able to spread worldwide - making Moroccan hashish one of the most popular varieties worldwide.
